Browsing this website

The website loads its styles, assets and its own scripts from its own origin. The one exception is the page-view counter described under “Visitor statistics” below. The hosting and delivery infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, page, time and browser details to serve and protect the site.

Visitor statistics

This site counts page views and which buttons are used with Umami, an analytics tool we host ourselves at analytics.devmaster.me. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not identify or follow you between websites. What it records is the page address, where the link came from, a rough country and the kind of device. Button events carry only our own labels, such as which page section a link sits in. Nothing you type — an email address, a name, a company — is ever sent. The sandbox route sends nothing at all.

Optional analytics

No analytics measurement ID is configured in this build. No analytics tag is loaded.

The savings calculator runs in your browser. Its inputs are not sent by this website or saved in local storage. If analytics is configured, the consent choice is stored locally only after you make a choice.

Email enquiries

Email links open your own email application. If you send a message, the business receives the details you choose to include and uses them to respond and discuss your request. Email and infrastructure providers process the correspondence as part of delivering those services. Do not include worker records or sensitive documents in an initial enquiry.

Enquiry forms

Our enquiry forms are served and handled by this website itself. Submitting one sends your name, work email, agency or company name and your workflow answers to our own server over an encrypted connection, and saves them in our private enquiry system so we can reply. No third-party form service receives or stores your submission. Your details travel in the form submission itself and are never placed in the page address. We use them to respond and discuss your request, not to subscribe you to a newsletter. Enquiries are kept while needed to handle the request and any agreed follow-up; contact us to request deletion. Do not submit employee, payroll or sensitive records through this form.

Assessment checkout

If we show a Firstline Desk enquiry form before payment, submitting it saves your name, work email, agency name or company-page reference, workflow answers and any assessment-terms acceptance in our private enquiry system. We keep that enquiry even if you leave Stripe without paying, so we can respond and discuss your request. Our private sales system can read enquiry and verified payment status; this does not subscribe you to a newsletter. A direct Stripe payment link without our enquiry form does not capture an abandoned enquiry in that system.

We send your work email and an order reference to Stripe to start checkout. Stripe collects billing details and payment information. We use the enquiry and verified payment record to fulfil the assessment and handle support or refunds. Our website does not receive or store your full card details.

Stripe processes payment data under Stripe’s privacy policy. Enquiry records are kept while needed to respond and discuss the request; order and correspondence records are kept for fulfilment, support and applicable accounting requirements. Contact us about access or deletion; records that must be retained for legal reasons may not be immediately deleted. Do not submit employee or payroll records through checkout.

Synthetic browser sandbox

The sandbox accepts synthetic examples only. PDF text extraction and printed-image OCR run in the browser using assets hosted on this site. Documents and results are held in session memory, without a server upload, browser storage or analytics on that route. Reset removes session-held files, previews and results; any CSV you downloaded remains on your device. Source references are filenames and page numbers, not hosted document links.

Project documents

Document transfer, approved processing tools, access and retention must be agreed before a project begins. The public website does not accept genuine worker documents. Redacted samples are used for the initial assessment.

Contact David to ask what information is held, request a correction or deletion, or stop further contact. Any applicable legal retention requirements will be explained when responding. We do not sell contact details for marketing.
